Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in North Carolina to lead a team delivering excellent customer service in a clean, well-stocked store. You will anticipate customer flow, manage staffing to cover shifts, and drive sales and margin goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with peers on the store leadership team, the District Manager, and area support staff to meet service, sales, and operational objectives, with occasional cross-training

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment.
• 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
• 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate flow and demand; redirect schedules for proper coverage.
• Plan for sales spikes; ensure in-stock position to support demand.
• Conduct safety walks; coach associates on safe practices.
• Lead a team to achieve sales and margin goals and drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with store leadership to meet service, sales and operations goals.
