Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Planning Division Leader in Morenci, AZ to supervise the planning staff and ensure effective job planning, scheduling, and reporting. You will manage budget forecasting, runtime forecasting, and materials management, collaborating closely with front-line supervisors to meet safety and operational goals.

Ideal candidates have strong supervisory experience in mining or industrial settings, proficiency with SAP, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have progressive maintenance/ planning experience in mining/mfg or industrial operations.
• Requires leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of SAP modules related to maintenance and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the division Planners and planning staff.
• Set objectives for the division Planners and maintain effective working relationships with front-line supervisors.
• Ensure quality control of planning processes through data measurement and safety policy adherence.
• Support the Superintendent in achieving safe job outcomes and department effectiveness.
• Lead daily, short-term, and long-range planning and scheduling practices.
• Oversee budgeting, forecast costs, and parts availability within planning.
• Spend time in the field reviewing job preparation, execution, and follow-up.
• Ensure pre-job and post-job requirements align with Freeport-McMoRan standards.
