Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a seasoned planning leader for Morenci operations in Arizona. You will supervise division Planners, drive runtime forecasting, oversee monthly plans, and coordinate with mine stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient maintenance and scheduling.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive SAP and maintenance systems knowledge, and the ability to develop budgets and forecasts while working on-site in a heavy industry environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in maintenance leadership in mining/manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree or technical associate plus supervisory experience considered.
• Strong mentoring, leadership, organization, and safety awareness are required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the division Planners and planning staff.
• Set objectives for Planners and maintain working relationships with front-line supervisors.
• Drive runtime forecasting and monthly plan development across mine areas.
