Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Supervisor to lead accounting operations at a large-scale mining and manufacturing facility in Safford, Arizona. This role will supervise staff, oversee financial processes, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and support the organization’s financial objectives through strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of accounting experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations and assigned personnel.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost control.
• Monitor compliance with policies, internal controls and regulations.
• Resolve day-to-day accounting issues while guiding the team.
• Partner with operations to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Lead, mentor and develop accounting staff for accountability.
• Support audits and financial reporting requirements.
