Eliassen Group seeks a Senior PKI Security Engineer to support an enterprise PKI environment in a remote capacity. The role requires expert-level PKI, certificates, and encryption knowledge across large, complex environments.

You will manage certificate lifecycles, drive PKI service improvements, lead incident response, and coordinate cross-team initiatives in a distributed setting. This contract role offers a competitive W2 hourly rate and opportunities to influence security at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Information Technology.
• 2+ years PKI experience with public CAs like Digicert and Sectigo.
• Unix experience and ITIL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance and lifecycle of public CA certificates.
• Register and manage domains and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot PKI and certificate issues across severities.
• Lead PKI disaster recovery exercises.
• Translate business needs into secure technology solutions.
• Represent Crypto Services on incident management calls.
• Apply DevOps principles to automation tasks.
