Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior PKI Security Engineer to provide operational, engineering, and project support for an enterprise PKI environment in a remote capacity.

You will manage certificate lifecycles, drive PKI service improvements, lead incident response, and coordinate cross-team efforts across a geographically dispersed organization while applying DevOps practices to daily workflows. This W2 contract role offers a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years IT experience; PKI experience 2+ years; senior PKI role
• Experience with public CAs like DigiCert and Sectigo
• Familiarity with ITIL principles is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance and lifecycle of public CA certificates.
• Register domains and validation processes.
• Lead PKI incident response and troubleshooting.
• Implement changes in PKI and certificate environments.
• Coordinate cross-team PKI initiatives in a distributed setting.
• Apply DevOps practices to PKI workflows.
