Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior PKI Security Engineer to provide operational, engineering, and project support for an enterprise PKI environment. The role requires expert-level PKI experience with certificates and encryption across large, complex environments.

You will manage certificate lifecycle processes, drive PKI service improvements, and coordinate cross-team initiatives in a virtual, geographically dispersed setting.

Qualifications

• Expert PKI, certificates and encryption across enterprise environments.
• Certificate lifecycle management and incident response experience is required.
• Experience coordinating cross-team initiatives in distributed settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance and lifecycle of public CA certificates.
• Register and manage domains and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot PKI and certificate issues.
• Monitor incident queues and resolve issues.
• Implement changes in PKI environments.
• Lead disaster recovery exercises.
• Design and implement PKI and security solutions.
• Identify and address technical and operational challenges.
• Analyze data trends for root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Plan capacity, monitor performance, and maintain high availability.
• Apply DevOps principles to workflows and automation.
• Lead or contribute to PKI/certificate projects.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Represent Crypto Services on global incident management calls.
