Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial mechanical projects in Dallas, TX. You will manage crews, production planning, scheduling, and safety while coordinating with project management, GC teams, and inspectors.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years of piping leadership, familiarity with hydronic systems, and codes knowledge (IMC/IPC/IBC). This on-site role offers strong resources, advanced tools, and long-term career growth with a stable

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of mechanical/piping field leadership experience.
• Proven experience running multimillion-dollar commercial projects.
• Strong experience with hydronic piping systems.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, water-source heat pumps, and associated piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of IMC, IPC, IBC, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• Journeyman or Master Mechanical/Plumbing license preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience with plumbing systems and/or HVAC air distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop piping/mechanical field crews
• Plan and direct daily production for contracted scopes of work
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules
• Oversee installation of hydronic and mechanical piping systems
• Coordinate work with the GC, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades
• Identify and resolve field conflicts before they impact production
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable mechanical/plumbing codes
• Maintain strong safety standards and jobsite best practices
• Monitor field productivity and keep projects on schedule
• Build strong working relationships with customers and project stakeholders
