Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid to Senior Piping Designer for Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, or Billings, MT offices. The role provides design and drafting support for pipeline, pump, and terminal projects nationwide.

You will work with established engineers, use 3D modeling and design software like AutoCAD/Plant3D, and mentor junior designers while delivering accurate drawings and P&ID interpretations. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD and Design or equivalent.
• 5–15 years of 3D design or drafting experience.
• Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D, Plant 3D, CADWorx, Revit.
• Must be self-starter and able to manage solo projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical drawings: site plans, piping plans, isometrics.
• Mentor junior designers and assist team.
• Interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and field walkdowns.
