Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. seeks a senior mechanical engineer to lead the design of complex projects, integrating piping, HVAC and process systems. You will develop layouts, perform calculations, and collaborate with vendors to ensure constructible, efficient solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure drawings meet standards, and support startup activities on site, drawing from 6+ years of industrial engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE registration is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with piping, HVAC and process systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design of complex projects.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to guide solutions.
• Produce detailed design calculations and construction drawings.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and accuracy.
• Provide field support and on-site startup assistance.
