Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Support Senior Engineer – Pipeline Simulation to provide local and regional technical support for Pipeline Simulation products. You will troubleshoot complex software issues, reproduce customer problems, and work with Development to obtain solutions, in a customer-facing role via phone, email, and web.

Locations include Houston, Owing Mills, Lake Forest, and Philadelphia. The role requires 5–10 years in pipeline simulation, a BS in Engineering, and strong English

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or higher
5–10 years of pipeline simulation experience
Experience in Oil & Gas / Pipeline software support
Strong thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and hydraulic knowledge
Good written and verbal English; Portuguese/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

Handle live inbound technical support cases
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and reproduce issues
Coordinate with Development for solutions
Document activities and knowledge objects
Provide training and deliver technical papers
Travel 5%–15% for training and visits
