Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Sr Engineer II to lead capital growth projects across our Gathering and Intrastate Pipeline system. You will own projects from concept through closeout, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery of complex natural gas infrastructure.

Role involves leadership across engineering, operations, regulatory, and construction domains, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in engineering design, operations, maintenance, construction, or project management for natural gas pipeline and related facilities.
• Experience managing pipeline-based infrastructure projects including natural gas pipelines, meter and control stations, and related facilities.
• Strong engineering judgment and ability to evaluate project requirements, identify issues, solve problems, and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital growth, operations, reliability, and asset optimization projects for pipeline-based infrastructure.
• Own projects from concept development through turnover to Operations.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external groups to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Lead meetings to obtain data, confirm requirements, assign roles, and resolve issues.
• Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, contract documents, and bid materials.
• Manage third-party engineering firms and field contractors through design and construction deliverables.
