Job summary

Energy Transfer in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania seeks a seasoned engineer to provide technical leadership for the development, design, and execution of capital, expense, and maintenance projects in a safe, profitable, timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, AFEs, equipment specifications, project execution, budget management, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with a preference for Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• 6-10+ years experience in engineering and project management required; 6+ years in pipeline/petrochemical environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to work with corporate and terminal/pipeline personnel, senior management, licensors and other industry contacts.
• Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products; Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, and performs cost estimation and AFEs for capital and expense projects.
• Prepares specifications and procures materials and equipment for timely project execution.
• Provides technical support to departments for safe, efficient installations.
• Performs engineering, design, installation, and startup of projects; supervises contract personnel as needed.
• Manages multiple projects within budget and schedule; assists in budgeting.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
