Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior Pipeline and Facilities Design Engineer to support nationwide projects from Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, or Casper, WY. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team on pipeline, pump station, and terminal/tank projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

You will contribute design engineering expertise, develop PFD/P&ID, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Engineering program.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• PE licensure preferred or willingness to attain.
• NCEES record preferred or willingness to attain.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for pipeline, pump stations, and terminals.
• Coordinate with client leads and project managers.
• Develop PFD and P&ID drawings and 30/60/90% designs.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and MAOP assessments.
• Oversee equipment specification and sizing, incl. pumps and valves.
• Support project scopes, schedules, and cost estimating.
