Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid-Senior Pipeline and Facilities Design Engineer to provide design engineering for pipeline, pump stations, and terminal projects across multiple western locations including Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, and Casper, WY.

You will join a team of engineers delivering 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC drawings, with responsibilities spanning hydraulic calculations, MAOP assessments, and field data collection.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Engineering program with 5–15+ years of relevant experience.
• FE exam completed or in progress preferred.
• PE licensure preferred or willingness to attain.
• NCEES record preferred or willingness to attain.
• Experience in Midstream Oil & Gas industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team on pipeline, pump station, and terminal/tank projects.
• Interface with client leads, project managers, and SMEs to ensure design integrity.
• Develop project design drawings at 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC stages.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, MAOP calculations, and line sizing.
• Coordinate procurement activities, RFQ/RFP packages, and vendor proposals.
