Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid-Senior Pipeline and Facilities Design Engineer to support pipeline, pump station, and terminal projects across multiple sites in the United States. The role involves leading design efforts for the oil and gas sector with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient facilities development.

The position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams while coordinating with clients and project leads.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Engineering program with 5–15+ years of relevant experience.
• PE licensure preferred, or willingness to attain.
• FE exam completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in internal and client design reviews.
• Develop project design drawings at 30%, 60%, 90%, IFC/IFB stages.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, line sizing, MAOP, and equipment sizing.
