At AtkinsRéalis in the United States seeks a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team in Bothell, WA, or other US offices. The role may be remote or hybrid, with responsibilities spanning multi-discipline collaboration, piping stress analyses for power piping and industrial systems per B31.1 and B31.3, and model verification of flexibility and nozzle loads.

You will read P&IDs, generate pipe stress reports, coordinate with vendors and other disciplines, and travel occasionally to project

Formación

• 15+ years performing pipe stress analysis.
• Experience with steam systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and flow diagrams.
• Experience writing pipe stress reports.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1/B31.3 and related codes.

Responsabilidades

• Work with multi-discipline team, collaborators, and clients.
• Perform pipe stress analysis for power piping and industrial systems per B31.1 and B31.3.
• Model piping systems using stress software to verify flexibility, stability, and nozzle loads.
• Obtain needed information and support to complete work on time.
• Balance workload across multiple projects with safety in mind.
• Maintain and build strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Perform clear calculations with schematics, references, and assumptions.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
• Coordinate questions to/from equipment suppliers and review submittals.
• Travel occasionally to project sites, other offices, or manufacturing plants.
