Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead pipe crews on heavy civil projects in the Denver area. You will safely install underground utilities—storm and sanitary sewers, water main—and coordinate daily activities to meet plans and production goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in underground utility construction and 2+ years in foreman roles, with OSHA knowledge and a valid driver’s license. Travel and extended hours may be required on active job sites.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in underground utility construction.
  • 2+ years leading pipe crews or foreman-level role.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
  • Familiar with heavy equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Instill safety as a top priority on all tasks.
  • Lead pipe crews installing underground utility systems as per plans.
  • Interpret and execute work according to project specs, grades, standards.
  • Coordinate daily crew activities, equipment, and materials for productivity.
  • Conduct pre-task planning and daily safety meetings with crew members.
  • Maintain project schedules with superintendents and other trades.
  • Track quantities and provide daily labor/equipment/material reports.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate timecards, logs, and safety records.
  • Promote a positive team environment and Ames Construction culture.
