Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead underground utility crews on heavy civil projects. You will direct daily field activities, ensure safety, and drive productivity in alignment with plans and company standards.

The position requires at least 5 years in underground utility construction and 2 years of foreman-level leadership, with OSHA knowledge and strong teamwork. Travel and site visits across nationwide projects are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in underground utility construction work.
• Minimum 2 years leading pipe crews or foreman-level experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Instill safety as a top priority on every shift.
• Lead and motivate pipe crews in underground utility installations.
• Interpret and execute work per plans, specs, and standards.
• Coordinate daily crew activities, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain project schedules and daily production reports.
• Complete accurate timecards and safety records.
