Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead pipe crews on heavy civil projects in Pt. Pleasant, WV. The role focuses on safely installing underground utilities, coordinating crews, equipment, and materials, and ensuring work aligns with plans and production goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in underground utility construction, 2+ years in a foreman role, and strong OSHA knowledge with familiarity with heavy equipment. Travel to national projects is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in underground utility construction.
• Minimum 2 years leading pipe crews or foreman-level role.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
• Must be familiar with heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of trenching, excavation, grading and utility construction methods.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Instill safety as a top priority.
• Lead and motivate pipe crews in underground utility installation.
• Interpret and execute work per project plans and standards.
• Coordinate daily crew activities, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct pre-task planning and daily safety meetings.
• Monitor trench safety, excavation practices, and utility locating requirements.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers and other trades.
• Track production quantities and prepare daily reports.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and specs.
• Maintain accurate documentation including logs and safety records.
• Promote a positive team environment and Ames Construction culture.
