Job summary

Allstate in New Jersey seeks a Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Attorney to manage a diverse caseload, including arbitrations and mediations, while staying current on evolving laws. This remote-based role requires occasional in-person court appearances across New Jersey, with monthly or quarterly team events at Clark, NJ office.

You will work with claims professionals and junior attorneys, applying defense strategies and ethics in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.
• Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar required.
• 4+ years of PIP / No-Fault litigation experience or equivalent transferable litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all aspects of PIP/No-Fault litigation from inception through resolution.
• Handle complex PIP matters with advanced litigation strategy and risk analysis.
• Conduct EUOs and prepare detailed reports focusing on fraud indicators and compliance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with minimal supervision.
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for testimony in arbitrations.
• Advise claims professionals with strategic case assessments throughout a claim.
• Monitor changes in PIP/No-Fault laws and apply developments to litigation strategy.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to process improvements.
