Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Senior Michigan PIP Claim Specialist to guide members through complex Personal Injury Protection claims from inception to resolution. This highly autonomous role emphasizes investigative acumen, negotiation, and analytical rigor in handling Michigan PIP matters.

Based in a hybrid work arrangement, you will engage insureds, attorneys, and treatment teams, review coverage, determine benefits, and document decisions in our claims system.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in negotiating claim settlements and evaluating evidence.
• Ability to prepare and analyze manual and electronic estimates.
• Experience with subrogation claims and resolving coverage questions.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned claims, contact insureds and others, and initiate documentation in the claims system.
• Complete complex coverage analysis and identify policyholder benefits.
• Approve payments and refer claims to related units when necessary.
• Conduct thorough investigations of facts to determine payment, limits, or exclusions.
