AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking a Claim Specialist to evaluate coverage, manage complex PIP claims, and support fair, timely resolutions for members. You will interact with insureds, providers and attorneys, maintaining records and ensuring regulatory compliance. Michigan No-Fault regulations knowledge is preferred.

The role involves hybrid work, day-to-day claims decisions, and collaboration with internal teams. A strong background in negotiations and documentation is essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.
• In states where an Adjuster’s license is required, eligible to acquire a State Adjuster’s license within 90 days of hire.
• A valid driver's license is required if the primary responsibilities involve in-person inspections.

Aufgaben

• Review assigned claims and initiate claim handling activities.
• Contact insureds and other parties to gather information and set expectations for the claims process.
• Document claim activity and maintain records in the claims system.
• Perform complex coverage analysis and identify applicable policyholder benefits.
• Establish and manage sub-claims as needed.
• Investigate to determine coverage applicability, claim validity, and policy limits.
• Evaluate damages and authorize appropriate payments; negotiate settlements.
• Refer claims to Underwriting, Recovery Units, and SIU when necessary.
