Job summary

AAA - The Auto Club Group is seeking a Senior Michigan PIP Claim Specialist - Litigation. You will independently manage complex and litigated Michigan PIP claims, using expertise in No-Fault/PIP, investigations, and negotiation to drive timely outcomes.

The role requires handling in-state court representations and travel within Michigan, with a day-to-day possibility of remote work from a home office while residing in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain a State Adjuster's license within 90 days of hire.
• Five years of experience in negotiation, evidence collection, estimates, subrogation, and resolving coverage questions.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned claims and contact insured and affected parties.
• Complete complex coverage analysis.
• Identify all policyholder benefits and create sub-claims when needed.
• Investigate facts to determine payment, limits, exclusions and recoveries.
• Document and code the claim file in the management system.
• Use strong negotiating skills and coordinate with other units as needed.
