Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Michigan seeks a Senior PIP Claim Specialist – Litigation to independently manage complex Michigan No-Fault/PIP claims. You will evaluate exposures, develop strategies, negotiate resolutions, and direct file progression toward timely outcomes.

The role may be remote from a home office but requires residing in Michigan and court appearances as needed. The candidate will handle claims involving high exposure, including MCCA and attorney-represented cases, collaborating

Qualifications

• Five years of experience or equivalent training in negotiation of claim settlements.
• Experience handling complex and litigated Michigan No-Fault/PIP claims.
• Proficiency in evaluating damages, subrogation, and no-fault law applications.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned PIP claims and communicate with insured and parties.
• Conduct complex coverage analysis and investigations to determine liability and payouts.
• Support litigation efforts, including hearings and settlements, with relevant documentation.
• Refer claims to Underwriting, Recovery Units or SIU as needed.
• Document and code claims accurately using the claims system and maintain file integrity.
