Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or health‑related field or 5 years health care management experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two years office management experience or 5 years in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of insurance (ICD-9/10 coding, CMS regulations, state/federal regulations, CLIA, DOH, OSHA) preferred; solid knowledge of and experience in billing and health insurance guidelines and practices.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with providers to implement scheduling to maximize productivity.
• Coordinates scheduling of resources including exam rooms and equipment.
• Registers patients, handles charge capture and initial submission, and collects at point of service.
