Job summary

Jefferson Health in Newtown, PA seeks a Practice Manager II to direct, supervise, and coordinate daily physician practice activities across multiple locations and specialties. The role includes research, CPC, and supervising other managers to maintain efficient operations.

You will lead staffing, policy development, and performance management, partnering with regional leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Typically 3–5+ years of experience in a Physician Practice or Healthcare setting.
• Management/Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily Physician Practice operations.
• Supervises Practice Manager I's or Supervisors.
• Coordinates policies and procedures with upper management.
• Manages personnel issues including training, performance, and discipline.
• Interviews new employee prospects and participates in hiring decisions.
• Responds to provider needs and escalates issues to regional leaders.
• Performs annual performance appraisals of support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
