Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, CA seeks a Senior Physician Assistant under a supervising physician to provide high quality, team based, patient-centered care across office, hospital, ED and perioperative settings. This role may require First Assist in the OR and on-call responsibilities.

You will perform exams, order diagnostic tests, develop management plans, and educate patients. Evening/weekend hours and mentoring of junior PAs may be involved, depending on department needs.

Responsabilités

• Team-based practice under supervising physician.
• Examination of patients and comprehensive data collection.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Perform injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and care continuity.
• Educate patients on therapy, growth, development, and health maintenance.
• May facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges; may first assist in surgeries.
• May perform post-operative orders and assist in status management.
