Job summary

CDW is seeking a senior Consulting Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced Physical Security Systems for diverse clients. You will lead technical architecture, configure video surveillance, access control, sensors, and integrations, and work closely with account managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.

The role requires hands-on Genetec or Verkada experience, a strong background in infrastructure/network environments, and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation, and support.
• Hands-on Genetec or Verkada Systems Engineering experience.
• Ability to travel between 25%-50%.
• Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs.
• Experience in Milestone Systems Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
• Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network; analyze existing systems and recommend solutions.
• Set up, configure, and test Physical Security Systems including video surveillance, access control, sensors, and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems.
• Assist in project management using established CDW methodologies and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
