Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations, including Physical Security, Plant Protection, and Incident response, reporting to the Director, Industrial Security. This role manages security programs and personnel in a growing team across the company.

The candidate will develop enterprise-wide security policies, metrics, and integration of a campus monitoring and access control ecosystem, aligning with AV's risk posture and resiliency goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 13+ years of hands-on Physical Security experience.
• At least 6+ years in management or leadership developing a security program.
• Experience with security technology, guard force management, and defense-in-depth.
• Current DOD Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own the full physical security assessment lifecycle from analysis to mitigation.
• Lead comprehensive physical security assessments across facilities and regions.
• Define and maintain overall assessment strategy with standards-aware methodologies.
• Conduct security risk analysis for infrastructure and develop risk reduction strategies.
• Develop and implement physical security control strategies balancing security and operations.
• Build repeatable processes and tools for consistent security delivery.
• Communicate findings to practitioners and executives through reports and presentations.
• Lead project execution across the physical security portfolio with stakeholders.
• Evaluate security implications of technology projects from a physical security perspective.
