Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations, including plant protection, incident response, and contract security personnel. This role reports to the Director, Industrial Security and oversees enterprise-wide security programs, policies, and metrics across the company.

The candidate will drive security strategy, campus monitoring, access control, and threat detection to protect facilities and assets, with a focus on risk reduction and business resiliency.

Qualifications

• 13+ years hands-on experience in Physical Security across the security spectrum.
• 6+ years in management/leadership building a physical security program.
• Experience with security technology, guard force management, and defense‑in‑depth principles.
• Current DOD Secret level security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the full physical security assessment lifecycle from analysis to mitigation tracking.
• Lead comprehensive physical security assessments across facilities and regions.
• Define and maintain assessment strategy aligned with standards.
• Conduct security risk analysis for infrastructure and develop reduction strategies.
• Develop and implement physical security control strategies balancing security and operations.
• Build repeatable processes and tools to speed delivery of security projects.
• Communicate findings to practitioners and executives via reports and presentations.
• Lead project execution across security portfolio and drive milestones to completion.
• Evaluate security implications of technology projects from a physical security perspective.
