Job summary

AV in the United States seeks a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations, including plant protection and incident response. You will report to the Director, Industrial Security and oversee a developing security team across AV's facilities.

The role requires deep expertise in physical security, risk assessment, and program management, with up to 50% travel. A Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred) is required to lead enterprise-wide security initiatives and collaborate

Qualifications

• 13+ years of hands-on Physical Security experience across the security spectrum (Physical Security, Executive Protection, Crisis Management, Emergency response).
• 6+ years of demonstrated management/leadership experience developing a physical security program, managing resources, and budgets for small teams.
• Experience in physical security technology, guard force management, and defense-in-depth security principles.
• Current DOD Secret level security clearance; Top Secret preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the full physical security assessment lifecycle from analysis to mitigation tracking.
• Lead comprehensive physical security assessments across facilities and regions.
• Define and maintain the overall physical security assessment strategy across infrastructure and timelines.
• Conduct security risk analysis for new and existing infrastructure and develop risk reduction strategies.
• Develop and implement physical security control strategies balancing security with operations.
• Build repeatable processes, tools, and mechanisms to speed security delivery.
• Communicate findings to diverse audiences through reports and presentations.
• Lead project/program execution and manage milestones across the portfolio.
• Evaluate security implications of technology projects from a physical security perspective.
