Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations—Physical Security, Plant Protection, Incident and Emergency response—and contract security personnel. The role reports to the Director, Industrial Security and oversees security programs across a developing team.

The successful candidate will develop enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and metrics to measure program effectiveness and align with AV's risk posture, while coordinating a security ecosystem

Qualifications

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in Physical Security across the full spectrum (Physical Security, Executive Protection, Crisis Management, Emergency response).
• 6+ years of leadership experience building and managing a physical security program with small teams and budgets.
• Experience in physical security technology, guard force management, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Current DOD Secret level security clearance; Top Secret preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the full physical security assessment lifecycle from analysis to mitigation tracking.
• Lead comprehensive physical security assessments across facilities and regions.
• Define and maintain overall physical security assessment strategy and keep methodologies current.
• Conduct security risk analysis for new and existing infrastructure and develop risk reduction strategies.
• Develop and implement physical security control strategies balancing security with operations.
• Build repeatable processes and tools to speed up security delivery across the organization.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to practitioners and executives through reports and presentations.
• Lead project and program execution across the physical security portfolio; manage stakeholders and milestones.
• Evaluate security implications of technology projects and infrastructure changes from a physical security perspective.
