Job summary

Velera is seeking a Senior Physical Security Coordinator to ensure safety of people, assets, and buildings while enforcing enterprise security standards. The role supports Facilities operations, Administrative Services, and event planning with occasional travel and after-hours work.

The position emphasizes maintaining access records, coordinating badge and key control, and ensuring security procedures are up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Associated Degree required.
• 5+ years' experience in related field.
• Vendor oversight experience.
• Preferred - APP certification.
• Compliance knowledge (PCI, SOC, NCUA, FFIEC, ADA, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Accurate records and issuance of building access.
• Annual physical verification of badge and key access per site.
• Timely termination of access and retrieval of badge/keys within 24 hours.
• Maintain security documentation (procedures, post orders, forms, training records).
• Back up for onsite Senior Facilities Operations Manager Coordinator and Administrative Services Coordinator.
