Job summary

Anthropic seeks a highly experienced Physical Security Design Lead and Contract Document Specialist to join the Global Design Engineering Construction team. You will author and continuously enhance the contract document basis of design and the reusable design templates that drive consistency and quality across Anthropic's global office build program.

Qualifications

Minimum 6+ years of design engineering and contract-document ownership for security systems.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Core expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems.
Understanding of SD/DD/CD and CSI specifications; ability to author specs and drawings from scratch.
Experience developing internal tools (web apps, BIM add-ins, scripting, automation).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance the contract document basis of design (BOD).
Author and evolve design templates for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems.
Serve as the contract-document subject matter expert and coordinate across architectural, electrical/fire alarm, network, AV, and Real Estate/Workplace.
Support bid, construction, and operational handover phases through clarifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop-drawings back-checks.
Partner with GSIS and cross-functional teams to translate lessons learned into BOD and template revisions.
Maintain the GSIS design library under version control with change-management and tracking logs.
Implement automations and AI-assisted workflows and align QA tools with global standards.
