Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a seasoned Physical Security Design Lead and Contract Document Specialist to author and enhance BODs and template documents for global office builds. You will set technical authority for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems, coordinating with GSIS, Real Estate, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 6+ years of design engineering experience in physical security or low-voltage systems.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems.
Ability to author specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules from scratch.
Strong understanding of A/E deliverables, CSI specifications, and RIBA stages.
Experience developing internal tools (web applications, BIM add-ins, scripting/automation).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance the contract document basis of design (BOD) from site/risk assessments and programming.
Author and evolve design templates for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems.
Serve as contract-document SME: review design deliverables for accuracy and alignment with the BOD; coordinate across disciplines.
Support bid, construction, and handover phases through clarifications, RFIs, submittals, and closeout docs.
Collaborate with GSIS, Real Estate, Network Team, and consultants to capture needs and translate into BOD revisions.
Maintain the GSIS design library under version control and provide status updates and improvement recommendations.
Implement automations, BIM add-ins, and AI-assisted workflows to streamline tasks and standardize QA across units.
