Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Technician in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants and children, POC testing, and coordinating with supervisors on day-to-day operations.

Travel is required, with shifts ranging from early morning to evenings and rotational weekends. Compensation includes a pay range of $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, potential annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of POC and phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares staff schedule to provide adequate coverage and updates changes daily.
• Performs phlebotomy and POC testing as needed.
• Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with necessary supplies.
• Maintains all necessary supplies and places orders in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with technicians, clinic staff in conjunction with the Supervisor.
• Monitors to ensure work is being performed efficiently.
• Establishes onboarding program for new employees.
• Sorts timed specimen requisitions and distributes them accordingly.
