Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Technician to support the supervisor in daily operations and to perform phlebotomy and POC testing across adults, infants and children.

The role requires traveling, shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM with rotational weekends; compensation includes a pay range of $27.00–$32.00 per hour, with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of POC and phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Prepares staff schedule to provide adequate coverage and updates changes daily.
• Performs phlebotomy and POC testing as needed.
• Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with supplies.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with technicians in conjunction with the Supervisor.
• Obtains specimens, requisitions, draw blood or perform POC tests as needed.
