Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood collection and POC testing across age groups. Shift is Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with rotating weekends.

Requires 1 year phlebotomy experience, data entry ability, and reliable transportation. Benefits and potential annual bonus accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or performs POC as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic collection techniques.
• Draws and delivers blood work within established departmental policy time frames.
• Performs and processes all POC tests on patients from newborn to geriatrics.
• Reports incidents/issues timely to group leader or supervisor.
