Grady Health System is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Atlanta. You will ensure accurate specimen collection, processing, and data entry in the LIS, while upholding safety and patient experience standards.

This role involves venipuncture, POC testing, and potential leadership as a Senior Phlebotomist. A high school diploma or GED and a recognized phlebotomy certification are required, with hospital-based experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification required by one of the listed cert bodies (NHA, NPCE, NCCT, AMT, ASCP).
• At least one year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform venipuncture and microcollection with precision and compassion.
• Ensure timely, high-quality specimen collection, processing, and distribution.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient and specimen data in the LIS.
• Perform Point-of-Ccare (POC) testing per department guidelines.
• Serve as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed, providing guidance to peers.
