Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic laboratory team in Atlanta. You will perform venipuncture, specimen handling, and LIS data entry, while upholding quality and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities include POC testing, collaborating with staff, and providing guidance as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed to support peers and ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification from NHA/NPCE/NCCT/AMT/ASCP is required.
• At least one year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and microcollection.
• Enter and maintain patient/specimen data in the LIS.
• Perform Point-of-Care testing per guidelines.
• Serve as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed, guiding peers.
