Natera is a global leader in cfDNA testing, focused on oncology, women's health, and organ health. We seek a Sr Phlebotomist to identify the best methods for blood collection, prepare specimens for lab testing, and perform screening procedures.

In this role, you will verify test requisitions, obtain specimens via venipuncture and finger sticks, maintain specimen integrity, and ensure compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy and security standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).

Responsabilidades

• Verifies test requisitions by comparing information with nursing station log.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity by aseptic technique and department procedures.
• Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection.
• Resolves unusual test orders by contacting physicians or laboratories.
• Completes HIPAA/PHI privacy, policy, and security training within 30 days.
