Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• BS/BA degree (preferred)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Phlebotomy Certification (state-specific) could be required

Responsibilities

• Verifies test requisitions and reports discrepancies to staff.
• Identifies patients and performs venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity and aseptic technique.
• Tracks specimens with time-stamped records and daily tallies.
• Ensures quality control and documents results as required.
• Adheres to HIPAA/PHI privacy policies and training.
