Job summary

Natera is seeking a Sr Phlebotomist for an onsite role in Oak Ridge, TN. You will identify optimal blood collection methods, prepare specimens for testing, and perform screening procedures to support laboratory operations.

The position requires safe handling of PHI, HIPAA/privacy training, and adherence to hospital and legal standards. Opportunities to develop skills and contribute to a growing cfDNA testing leader are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• BS/BA degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).

Responsibilities

• Verifies test requisitions by comparing information with nursing station log.
• Verifies patient by reading patient identification.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity with aseptic technique and proper procedures.
• Tracks collected specimens with dates and times; maintains tallies.
