Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Pharmacy Technician Senior Representative to support ESSDS. The role involves obtaining complete prescription information from prescribers, data entry, and coordinating with pharmacists. Remote work is allowed with occasional office visits.

Ideal candidates have a Missouri Pharmacy Technician license, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and math skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic computing skills (email, Word).
• Ability to learn internal systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good math and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Primarily contacting doctors and/or patients to obtain complete/accurate information for prescription processing.
• Data entry of prescriptions after reviewing for completeness/accuracy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists per policies and procedures/regulations.
• Complete REMS program training requirements.
• Serve as SME and assist team members, coordinating with supervisor.
• May assist with training of newly hired pharmacy technicians.
• Cross-train to support other areas as needed.
