Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision and follow policy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and dispense prescriptions.
• Verify accuracy of medicines and check for interactions.
• Assist scheduling and maintain workflow in the pharmacy.
• Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policy during dispensing activities.
• Register sales at the cash register and assist customers to OTC aisles.
• Handle non-urgent phone calls and process third-party claims.
• Lead inventory management and protect company assets.
• Support KPI reviews, clinical services, and coordination with providers.
