Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians; participate in hiring and scheduling.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities, including registration, data entry, and medication preparation.
• Ensure accurate insurance claims processing and contribute to inventory management and compliance.
