Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy operations under the supervision of the pharmacist, including entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Maintain pharmacy systems, ensure accuracy, and check for drug interactions.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management and process warehouse overages/shortages/damages.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in analyzing KPI data and improving performance.
• Handle customer inquiries and direct to OTC aisle; manage cash register duties as assigned.
