Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in dispensing medications, recording patient data, and ensuring accuracy of prescriptions. You will interact with customers, help locate items, and assist with insurance and billing processes.

Under supervision of the pharmacist and Store Manager, you will handle inventory, maintain policy compliance, and contribute to a positive patient experience through proactive service and teamwork.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and entering patient data.
• Verify medicines and check for potential drug interactions.
• Process third-party and cash transactions and assist customers in locating products.
• Lead inventory management activities and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
• Support pharmacy management with clerical tasks and workflow improvement.
