Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting. Under supervision you will assist in dispensing, enter patient data, verify medicines, and help with inventory and claims.

You will engage customers, handle calls, and contribute to a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with policies and quality standards. English fluency and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required where legally allowed.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under pharmacist supervision with dispensing and pharmacy operations.
• Enter patient and drug information and check for interactions.
• Process prescriptions and assist with third-party claims and clerical duties.
• Lead inventory management activities and maintain stock levels for Rx drugs.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in coordinating clinical services and outreach.
